Samhita is a senior in Irvington High School in Fremont and aspires to be a doctor.

My passion for helping others started during my visit to India when I saw homeless kids eating food that was wasted during weddings. While I realized how fortunate I was, the incident made me realize that everyone is not as fortunate and I was determined to give back to the community on what I have been blessed with and bring shine in the lives of other kids in the most meaningful ways and thus, GiveandShine Foundation sprung to life. 

Diya is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.

My passion for helping others started during my childhood years when I attended volunteering events with the American Lung and cancer association with my parents. I saw young children who were attending Smokeless Saturday classes as they were caught in possession of tobacco and/or nicotine products. Some of the kids did not have stable homes and were deprived of basic necessities of life. This in addition to how COVID affected the lives of many children was the main reason behind incorporating GiveandShine Foundation. Through our organization, I hope to be able to bring joy to people who need it most.

Raeyaan is a sophomore at Irvington High School with aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur.

My goal is to empower my community, and leverage technology to make a positive impact on the world. I have a keen interest in math and physics, and 

I am actively participating in several international math competitions.

I am passionate about building community through innovation and technology. 

I am also an avid cricketer, and I spend time playing and coaching younger players.

Rishon is a freshman at Irvington High School with aspirations of becoming an innovator.

I am deeply passionate about investing, finance, and technology. I am also strongly interested in fundraising and creating community programs to drive social impact. Additionally, I am an enthusiastic cricket player and actively compete in various tournaments. I am also a member of the robotics team, where I enjoy building, wiring, and programming robots. 

Riya is a senior at Irvington High school who plans on becoming a dermatologist.  

Over quarantine I redecorated my room and painted vinyls to hang on my wall. Shortly after, I started selling them and created a small business for myself. With the talents I have, I’ve realized I can use it to brighten peoples lives by helping and giving back. I enjoy showing people how to express themselves through art and help by sharing and caring for people in need during tough times
